Glyfada is one of Corfu’s best-known sandy beaches. A broad stretch of fine golden sand lies below pine- and olive-covered hills, while the open western aspect gives the sea its characteristic blue-green colour and provides memorable sunset views.
The beach is fully organised, with sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, watersports, cafés and places to eat. The gently shelving sections are popular with families, although conditions can become wavier when western winds are present. The southern end is generally quieter than the central organised area.

Sunbeds and umbrellas are available. Natural shade on the beach itself is limited.

Accessible by car, taxi or Green Bus. Parking is available, but the access road is winding and spaces may be harder to find at peak times.
