Issos is one of Corfu’s most distinctive natural beaches. A broad expanse of golden sand and dunes separates the Ionian Sea from Korission Lagoon, forming a protected landscape that feels very different from the island’s developed resort beaches.
Only part of the beach is organised, leaving plenty of room for visitors who prefer a quieter and more natural environment. The shallow sandy entry is attractive for families, while the open exposure and reliable breeze make Issos popular for windsurfing and kitesurfing. There is little natural shade, so preparation is important on hot days.

Best reached by car or taxi. Road access leads close to the beach and parking is generally available on sandy or unpaved areas near the main entrance.
